I am using DoTERRA essential oils, unless otherwise specified.
Why? Because they are Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade oils. Adding more chemicals into the lives of my sweethearts seemed a foolish idea. The resources that are informing my opinions are two-fold: a small pregnancy pamphlet called Essential Oils for Maternity, and a huge book entitled Modern Essentials: A Contemporary Guide to the Therapeutic Use of Essential Oils (Fifth Edition). This Compendium specifically addresses DoTERRA products, so it may be annoying for some.
If you are just using essential oils from wherever, a better option may be the booklet, Modern Essentials Usage Guide. I bought this and the big book together, and love it.
